Biomass power plant in Philippines

As one of the largest sugar producing country in the world, from 2012, Philippine government planned to build at least 20 biomass power plants in order to decrease the pollution from directly burning of agricultural waste in countryside. 

The main fuel of those power plants could be coconut husk, bagasse, straw and others. The common capacity of power plant is around 10-20MW, and the unstable main steam parameters put forward a high demand for stability of steam turbine.

With more widespread environmental awareness and the resultant striving for “green” lifestyles, disposed rubbish energy for both industry and electricity providers is a reliable – and sustainable – source of baseload power. HTC dedicates to researching more suitable steam turbines to meet the need of this promising industry.

Refuse-burning Plant in Thailand

Thailand is one of the biggest biomass power plant markets to HTC due to its environmental protection policy and geographical feature. Up to now, HTC has over 30 biomass STG running in Thailand. 

Much higher efficiency, much lower noise, and more stability to cope with changeable boiler steam output is the advantage of HTC’s steam reaction type steam turbine.
